What is Lubrin® ?
Lubrin® is a soft gel type product in the form of a capsule and assist in providing vaginal or anal lubrication. Are the capsules suppositories?
No, the capsules consist of a soft gel in solid form, which solidifies as a result of the body temperature. This results in a long-lasting (up to 6 hours) softness and lubrication of the mucous membranes.
When can I use Lubrin® capsules?
Vaginal dryness is a problem for many women. It can occur after a delivery, while breastfeeding, due to hormone products and especially during and after the menopause. What to do if the Lubrin® capsules are too soft.?
When the capsules (e.g. due to warm weather) have become too soft you can put them in the refrigerator. This will cause Lubrin® to solidify which helps in easier application. Lubrin® capsules can without problem always be stored in the refrigerator. “Melting” and re-solidifying does not alter Lubrin's® characteristics.
